Fiber Extension
Reach customers beyond the economical reach of fiber. Our reverse-powered G.fast DPU suite leverages existing copper infrastructure to deliver gigabit-class services where full-fiber deployments aren't viable.
Reverse-Powered Architecture
Our Fiber Extension solution bridges the gap between fiber infrastructure and end customers using G.fast technology over existing copper lines—delivering gigabit-class services without the cost of full fiber deployment to every premises.
Distribution Point Unit (DPU)
Deployed in the field near customer premises—on poles, walls, strands, pits, or in MDU basements. The DPU connects to the fiber network and distributes service over existing copper pairs using G.fast technology.
Network Termination Device (NTD)
Installed at the customer premises, the NTD receives the G.fast signal and provides standard Ethernet connectivity. Critically, it also provides reverse power to the DPU—eliminating the need for external power at the distribution point.
Gigabit-Class Delivery
Together, this architecture delivers fiber-equivalent performance to customers who would otherwise be beyond the economical reach of FTTH, using infrastructure that already exists.

When Fiber Extension Makes Sense
Our solution addresses scenarios where traditional fiber-to-the-home struggles to deliver a viable business case.
Expensive Last-Hop Deployment
When the cost of running fiber the final distance to each premises is prohibitive, leveraging existing copper delivers the same speeds at a fraction of the cost.
Premises Access Difficulties
When gaining physical access to install new fiber cabling is challenging—such as gated communities, private roads, or difficult terrain—existing copper eliminates these barriers.
Architectural Preservation
Heritage buildings, historic districts, and areas with strict aesthetic requirements where visible new cabling installation isn't permitted.
Complex MDU Agreements
Multi-dwelling units where negotiating building-wide fiber installation rights is difficult, but existing copper infrastructure is already available to every unit.
